What is TLDR Dairy?

Welcome to TLDR Dairy News! I will be sending out a five-minute (or less) summary of some interesting articles related to the dairy industry once or twice a week (depending on how quickly the stories accumulate). You can read the summaries here, or subscribe to get the newsletter delivered to your inbox.

You might be wondering why I'm taking the time to do this and/or why you need yet another email stacked in your inbox (or, equally likely, your junk folder). The fact of the matter is there are a lot of dairy publications out there that send a lot of emails. And, in those emails, there are a lot of the same stories. And, of those stories, many look interesting and just aren't. The basic premise here is to let someone else sift through the noise and recommend some worthwhile articles. You can just read the summaries, or follow the link and read the original article.

What's in it for me? It's basically a way to force me to stay up on dairy- and ag-related news. If you think I've missed a story or have any comments, just reply to the email you receive.

Our first newsletter is set to go out 2024-07-26. You can subscribe if you'd like to stay up to date and receive emails when new content is published. If you know someone else that might tolerate this email periodically adding to their inbox, feel free to forward the sign-up link or the email itself.

Lastly, what's TLDR? If you haven't come across it before, it's just internet slang for too long; didn't read, a nod to the summaries of the articles.
